1/26 Melting Motion

Melting Icicle
1/26 Photograph Move
Motion / Act / Variation

What to get for movement in my house? Can't count on the cats to anything in motion unless its them following me and begging for food. I had thought of setting up the tripod in the front door to get the birds feeding, but no birds today. I guess they heard there was a blizzard on the way. Looking out the door, I saw the ice melting and then worked on catching the drops in motion. It took many shots to get the drops close enough to the end of the icicle while dripping off the end.

For the flickr group this week, I am having fun just taking abstract pictures. I used a glass ornament to get up close with the macro lens and the sun was streaming through the ornament .  Tomorrow, I think it's going to be frost on the window with snow behind it based on the weather forecast for tomorrow. I got my bread, milk and eggs, bring it on!

  1. The drop of water was a wild catch. Couldn't figure it out until I read your explanation. Great picture.
