Rainy Friday

Rainy Friday- Too Risky to Go Out with Camera Today
6/13 Photograph Dangerous
Unsafe / Hazardous / Risky

Just wasn't feeling the need to leave the house today to take pictures with the rain to get a picture of a dangerous activity.  The suggestion for the prompt was to stop action, and I chose to stop the action of the raindrops. This picture was taken from my dry, front porch and if you look above in the black area, you can see the raindrops.  At the time that this picture was taken, it was pouring. I did venture out to take a couple of the closeups below. With all the Iris pictures that I have taken, this is the first one that I have used for a picture of the day for the Capture your 365 project.

We were suppose to play in a glow ball tournament at the local golf course which would have been fun if it had been a clear night with full moon. Instead, here we are watching hockey and baseball. Bub is crazy, busy with his job at the equipment rental with all the graduation parties this weekend and made it home for dinner when he found out that we were having marinated steak tips. No leftovers for the past two nights!

Not much else going on today except for adding more photographs to my gallery for sales to a friend who's designer wanted a couple of more photos. Check them out at the Zen Folio gallery- more black and white city scenes along with Iris and Lilac shots. Tomorrow morning we are going to the Farmer's Market where I am going to work on the street scene assignments for my online photography class.
Shot taken from the back porch.
I did buy a couple of annuals for some pops of color in the front gardens.
You can always click on the pictures above to see them larger!
