What a beautiful summer weekend and we were off to the beach this afternoon. We weren't the only ones with this idea! I just love the beach in the afternoon, when all the kids are winding down. Just my husband and I went as my 18 year old was too cool to go, just as well since we ended up at a seafood place for dinner. There's nothing better than fried clams, shrimp, haddock and calamari after a day at the beach.
And no, spray on sun screen is not a good choice for first time beach goers. We were there from 2 PM to 6 PM, glad we weren't there any longer.
