Sometimes you look at pictures and you can't figure our how it was taken. In this case, I know that the lake was stable and horizontal. I had no idea that the islands behind me were slipping off the face of the earth. The picture was taken when the weather was just hot, not incredibly muggy like it is now. If given the choice, I will take dry and hot anytime over hot and muggy. Today, both the sky and air were gray, full of moisture as if it was too hot to rain. We finally got a shower, but we need a good 8 hours of rain, preferably at night. We will be kayaking this weekend, I hope the lake will be flat.
