1. If you had your hair highlighted a very funky blonde color, would you then hightlight your toddler's hair the same color? Who, oh by the way was a boy? Yep, saw that at the Food Court.
2. Why do women's cashmere scarves cost 45% more than Men's? My aunt will never know the difference.
3. How do people shop at the mall wearing spiked heels?
4. Who gets Chia pets? Have you? For those who don't remember the commercial, click here for an informative commercial.
5. Have you ever had an afghan sucking kitten? They only suck the afghans if we are under them.
6. How do you keep two kittens out of a Christmas tree? We are waiting till next week to put ours up.
7. Do you go shopping and think, why buy now, it will all be on sale in 2 weeks.
8. Did you think Santa was scary when you were little? Or did your kids cry on his lap?
9. Do you ever regret your choice of food at the food court when you see that the place you went to has no business?
10. Have ever registered for the bone marrow registry? Do you know anyone who has ever donated? Please check out the post from yesterday that I wrote regarding a young mother in our area.
11. Are you a shop ahead kind of person? Or an "oh crap, Christmas is two weeks away and I have to get some gifts" procrastinator?
12. Do you know what kind of crappy Christmas gift you are?
You Are a Christmas Sweater! |
Over the top, colorful, and totally flashy. You're not afraid to be a little tacky. |
13. Here's a Christmas carol trivia question for you...What carol uses conspire to rhyme with fire? ( and all this time, I thought it was perspire)

This is a very fun list, although I must say that I'm in denial of any mother highlighting her child's hair. I think you'd have to tie a boy down to do it.... And spike heels? Only for the very short!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
I happen to like chia pets...and I can't ever eat lettuce after that again either...
ReplyDelete#3, good question...I wonder that every time I see them, while I am wearing my running shoes!
ReplyDeleteGood musings tonight -- I often wonder the same thing about those women in heels. I guess they don't have bad legs like I do...
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE your suggestion for Springer! Oh, man, that's good! I'll have to play with that and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the inspiration!
LMAO @ #7!!!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about how I did the collage, I used this web site:
http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/mosaic.php
Some good advise and also things that make you go hmmmmmmm...lol. Happy TT and thanks for stopping by:)
ReplyDelete#3 - They must have extremely high tolerance to pain, lol! :o)
ReplyDeleteI am very much a gift buying procrastinator.
ReplyDeleteTrying again -- safari doesn't like me, I guess. sigh
ReplyDeleteI finally realized I am not supposed to sign in on the auto link box -- but my addy auto filled anyway so don't know how this works.
Is the song Winter Wonderland? (I love snow.)
I hid under the piano at kindergarten when Santa turned up. My mom was mortified.
ReplyDeleteChia pets---hee hee hee. They are sort of cute. I mean, it's a PLANT, right? A pet plant. But I have never given or received one, I admit.
The Flatland Almanack --Damozel
PS. It's pretty hard to keep kittens out of a tree if they make up their mind to go in one. My husband used to weight down the base of the tree with bags of kitty litter and use fishing line to secure it to the ceiling. We put the unbreakable ornaments near the bottom. But most of all, we tried to keep the kittens out.
ReplyDeleteThe fake-nursing may stop. It's not uncommon.
I am definitely a shop ahead kind of person :) !!
ReplyDeleteHow do you walk in spike heels?
ReplyDeleteHow does give Chia pets except for a joke?
Squirt gun and shoot the kittens!

I hate to know that everything will be on sales in 2 weeks!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!!!!!! :)
Great list! I would definitely NOT dye my toddlers hair!
ReplyDeleteThe scarves -- so true! And it's the same with hair!
ReplyDeleteI also really want to know why all the women's bathrobes or pale pastel colors and the men's are bright and dark! A light rope wouldn't last a week with me as far as stains go. Men have better boot choices too. I've been frustrated for years on that one.
ReplyDeleteAnd why does Oprah always say, "we'll be right back," TWICE?!
Oh that spiked heel business drives me crazy! I gawk at women wearing those while shopping and shake my head with wonder. I could get away with wearing spiked heels when I was in my early 20s, maybe, but now I can wear them for about 5 minutes before my feet start screaming. LOL
ReplyDeleteLMAO Excellent questions! Since I hardly put any effort into my list this week, I'll at least try to answer a few of yours...
ReplyDelete2. I have no idea, but I was wondering the same thing just the other day.
4. Never bought one, but I know people who've given them as "White Elephant" gifts.
7. Absolutely! I think that every year.
8. I never cried, but I was a painfully shy kid so those overly boisterous mall Santas always kinda freaked me out.
11. Sadly I am the latter, at least this year anyway.
12. I've done this one twice. The first time I was fruitcake, but today it says I'm a losing lottery ticket! LOL
13. Winter Wonderland :-)
I've seen #1 before and food court food especially chinese food always makes me nervous, I don't know why.
ReplyDeleteI think the chia pet would look disgusting as it grows out - I have a freaky issue with textures.
Very fun TT!
Ch-ch-ch-chia! Yes I got one for Christmas. It was a sheep. I loved it. Unfortunately the chest area didn't grow in as well as it might have and got kinda mildewy.
ReplyDeleteWalking in a Winter Wonderland.
ReplyDeleteI am both kinds of shopper. I bought the gradkids presents three weeks ago, my son-in-law's present last week and, oh crap, what am I going to get my wife....I have no clue.
great idea for a TT and loved your answers
ReplyDeleteExcellent questioning thoughts. I have a few answers, right or wrong;
ReplyDelete#2-Not fair. End of story.
#6-I have had many kitties/cats and trees. Can't keep 'em out. Always ended up tying the tree TO THE WALL.
#7-Hate the idea of paying full price when I can get so much more after so I always ask for and get gift cards as my gift...I am patient.
#8-I am was not afraid and neither were any of my three children.
#11-I am a shop on Xmas eve person. It started out of necessity, but became habit after years.
Whew, what a wonderful TT.
Have a great evening.

Love the randomness!
ReplyDeleteI tried three times to leave a message but it never went thru -- maybe this one will. I can't even remember what I was going to say except I am sorry I always signed up in the box with my website when I don't belong to your group. Just call it ignorance. I didn't realize you could post -- until recently -- if you didn't. OK will see if this will go through.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your query on my blog. . . I do not use flash as it will make it a big glob of lights and part of the boar but no Xmas design. I start focusing on a spot just ahead of the ship and then when it comes into view, I click.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lady across the street who is never without her stiletto heels. She was out in the driveway shoveling 6 inches of snow in them the other day.
ReplyDeleteI admit, I love the way they look, but OUCH!!!! I can't imagine walking a mall, much less shoveling in them.
Jessica
P.S. and NO to the hair dye question!! LOL
Ive seen these questions before and MAN, do I wish I had the answers...lol. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm. Happy TT and thanks for stopping by:)
