Snow? April? Global Warming? No School?

This is what we woke up to this morning. No electricity, no school and heavy wet snow. So much for spring. However, since tomorrow is my birthday, I do recall a significant storm in 1982. It's called living in New England. I have had birthdays snowed in and birthdays with temps in the eighties. Please tell me there is sun and balmy weather coming!

  1. Try to go to one of your happy places from your last TT....close the blinds and tune it out! Let the Calgon take you away while you imagine yourself in your Kayak or on the beach...lol

    and Take Heart...

any snow this late in the year won't last too long!

Sending you some sunshine at least - I'd offer more but it's still chilly here too.

  2. A big happy birthday sent your way from Vegas where the weather is somewhat different than you're experiencing. I'm from Boston so I know good ol' wacky New England weather. My mother born May 2nd had a blizzard on her birthday when she was young.

    Hap Hap Happy Birthday

Oh, my gosh, Jen! I'm so sorry. "There is sun and balmy weather coming." Did that help? I won't tell you that I've run around in a sleeveless blouse all day, because that would be rubbing it in.

  9. Happy Birthday, Jen! May all your birthday wishes come true, even the impossible ones...like No Snow! What a rude thing to wake up to.

It was a warm and wonderful spring day here. Gosh, the poor flowers in your area must be so confused.
