Fortunate and Thankful

We went to our place in the sun last week and I am ready to retire. I wish!! But we enjoyed our first week in our second home and was glad to have our second son and his girlfriend visit. There is still a little bit of work to do, but it's ready to be used. I am hoping that my parents will get down to stay this winter and I know we will be there for a few long weekends. Still need to work though, no retiring yet.

I had thought of getting a comfy type seating area on the porch, but we really enjoyed the glass table with the current seats. We are able to sit and work, drink coffee or just watch the water where we can watch dolphins, manatees. At night time, we even got to watch bioluminescence at work, algae would flash blue when fish swam through it.  Why watch tv when you can just sit and look out over the Banana River.

The rest of the living room is now set up so we can look at the view.  Now it's just another countdown to our next visit where we will have to hang pictures and get the washer and dryer set up.
